Baowen Liang is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Political Science, University of Montreal. He earned his master degrees in French language and literature at Shanghai International Studies University (China) and in social and political science at Pantheon-Assas University (France). His research interest mainly concerns electoral behavior and emotions in politics. His master thesis studies the influence of anxiety on French voters in the second round of the 2012 presidential election.
